Sustainability
Recycle together.
Lighter bottles, caps that stay on, and a plan to get every bottle recycled. Here is what we have done so far, and how you can help.
Tethered caps · 2024
The cap stays with the bottle.
Keeping bottle and cap together makes recycling simpler and stops caps from becoming litter on their own. The cap locks open at 180 degrees, so it stays out of the way while you drink.
Our initiatives
Step by step, since 2012
Go Green was a milestone, not the finish line. We keep looking for better ways to care for our communities.
- 2012
The Go Green advocacy
We made our packaging lighter, cutting the PET in each bottle by an average of 50% compared with our previous bottle.
- 2018
ResponsiBottle and Bin
A campaign on the value of our 100% recyclable PET bottles, and on the right way to segregate them so they get recycled.
- 2023
Colorless caps
Natural-colour caps increase the supply and value of post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR), which is in high demand for recycling.
- 2024
Tethered caps
The cap stays with the bottle, so it doesn’t get lost in the environment and is easier to collect. It locks open at 180 degrees, away from your nose while you drink.
A second life for every bottle
PET can go round again in more than one way.
Upcyclable
Turned into new products of higher value.
Recyclable
Made back into PET for new bottles and packaging.
Downcyclable
Made into lower-grade materials such as fibres and fillers.
Inside our plants
Water efficiency
We use innovative technologies and practices to conserve water, reduce waste and support a more sustainable future.
Energy efficiency
Our energy efficiency work optimises energy use, brings in renewable energy and reduces our impact on the environment.

How to recycle your bottle
Collection points
- 1
Empty it
Drink up or pour out what is left.
- 2
Keep the cap on
The tethered cap stays attached, so both get recycled.
- 3
Flatten it
Squeeze out the air to save space.
- 4
Segregate it
Put it in the recyclables bin, not with food waste.
